I had such a great time at Avin Grill. The food was fantastic, especially the grilled dishes, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner is super cool and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic African cuisine in Longueuil and even whole Quebec :) love it
Wonderful food and service. The owner welcomed us in early when he saw us looking in. The skewers were incredible and so were the fries and salad.
OMG! Better than expected! Best chicken I’ve had, fries were great, the pico is such a smart and tasty addition. Good beer. The service was good too but I had to wing down the waiter once, not bad though. Worth the food and price!! Cheap for the entire experience.
Super welcoming and friendly service with tasty and nice food. Price is reasonable for the food type served. We order a to go plate and waited inside the restaurant. The place is not big, around 20 seats with warm environment while we’re waiting for the food to be ready.
Very nice intimate spot. Black-centered atmosphere with hip hop 90’s music and art deco. The owner keeps this spot very clean in fact he cleans the entrance after all customers enters the restaurant. He was very courteous and seem to prepare his food with love for his consumers. I went with my sister for her birthday and even though there were no cocktails listed on the menu he made us two and OMG we could taste the alcohol. It was so good. We had the samosas for appetizer. They were delicious too. The meat was well- seasoned, and the pastry was crispy on the outside. She had the goat platter that was also well seasoned crispy yet moist and I had the tilapia platter. Both was served with fries and a delicious salad.
It was a very nice experience. We loved it. I was not 100% excited about the traditional dish, the green banana with meat in a sauce, it's probably for the connoisseurs, I was missing the flavors in it. But I really wanted to try it, so I am happy that I did it. It's always interesting to discover something new. The fish and the chicken were very good Thank you, Avin, for the great evening we had.
Good portions if you're looking for a light dinner. Definitely get one of the platters if you're feeling a little more ravenous. The taste is impeccable. Everything is very fresh.
Stopped in on our visit to the Montreal area for a delightful meal. The rice was some of the best rice I have ever eaten anywhere. Chicken kabobs were great.
